Luxembourghas the highest minimum wage in EU – 1,874.19 euros.

The game is inherently rigged against former Warsaw Pact states. It's nearly impossible to compete unless you're incredibly fortunate to neighbor a super-rich country like Germany that allows Poland to have strong trade ties. I think the total Russian FDI in Poland is less than 100 million euro whereas German FDI totals more than 20 billion euro . That is an exemplary example of how economics have become very slanted against ex-Warsaw states.

The collapse of the communist trading block made it very easy for our living standards and wages to drop very fast since we now had to depend on Western investors to bring in quick cash instead of our own workers producing goods on order of indigenous employers. We lost the capability to produce our own wealth. There are attempts to reunify the old trading block, the Eurasian Union pioneered by Putin, for example.
