RE: Botany Quiz
It is some frigging yellow desert flower without a proper name. Probably tastes like marigold, anyway.

Next!

Not in haunts of marble chill,
Temples drear where ancients trod,—
Nay, in oaks on woody hill
Lives and moves the German God.

Obviously a violet - and I'd guess viola labradorica, commonly known as Alpine dog violet, Alpine violet, American dog violet, dog violet, or Labrador violet.

Incorrect, though very similar looking to Alpine violet.

Oxalis adenophylla (Chilean Oxalis) or something in that genus, the leaves are a dead give away for an Oxalis.
I have a passing interest in arctic-alpine plants.

RE: Botany Quiz
In German it is called Wald-Sauerklee, but the kind I know has fleshier petals which are more interwoven than in the picture.
